1. Can the systems
be made to any given size? Yes, but panels need to be within safety and structural
parameters. 2. Are there standard panel sizes?
No, door sets are made bespoke. 3. Are there maximum panel
sizes? Typically, maximum panel width = 1metre. 4. What
are the delivery lead times for aluminium and Timber systems? Aluminium 5-6
weeks, Timber 6-8 weeks. 5. Are doors offered as both inward
or outward opening? Yes, to suit requirements, there is no cost implication.
6. Is it possible to have a flush track? A choice of
tracks is available, including a flush track. 7. Is there
a choice of glazing options? Standard glazing is 4x16x4mm Toughened, Low
'E', Argon filled double glazed units. Safety and solar control glass is available
to suit most requirements, at extra cost. 8. What finishes
are available for both systems? Aluminium - available in standard RAL colours.
Timber - factory finished in a water-based Sikkens preservative and stain in a
range of colours. RAL colours are also available. 9. How can
I see your products? We install systems nationally and would be happy for
you to view a private installation by appointment. 10. Who
is responsible for the installation? You will be designated a Contracts Manager
who will oversee the manufacture, installation, and commissioning of your system.
11. Where are the systems manufactured? Aluminium systems
are German designed, British built and manufactured at our extensive facility
in Loughborough. Timber systems are manufactured at our sister company in Germany
using state of the art technology. 12. What weather ratings
do the systems achieve? Please refer to 'Quality and Guarantees' section.
13. What are the maintenance requirements for each system?
Virtually maintenance free. Regular vacuuming of the bottom track together
with occasional lubricating of the moving parts are all that is required. 14.
What after sales service do you offer? If required, we offer a speedy after
sales service by our trained technicians. 15. What provision
do you make for disabled access? There is a choice of floor track, including
a flush level track. Panels can also be made up to 1 metre wide, allowing for
easy wheelchair access.
